Student Services

Capri offers a variety of services for salons, students and graduates of Basic Cosmetology and Cosmetology Instructor Programs. From on-line State Board Exam Applications, rules and regulations of the Cosmetology Act to maximizing job placement services, Capri anticipates your need.

To apply for the Illinois State Board Exam, review the Cosmetology Act, verify rules or receive license renewal information visit: http://www.idfpr.com/dpr/WHO/cosmo.asp

Requesting a Capri Transcript for Licensing

Graduates applying for the Illinois State Board Exam must also submit a Capri Beauty College transcript to Continental Testing Services, Inc (CTS). Without a Capri transcript, CTS will not respond to any licensing request, provide testing dates or a confirmation number. Capri does not send transcripts directly to CTS or any other party. Transcripts must be physically picked up at the school by the graduate using proper photo identification. Transcripts must be requested using this transcript request form. Transcripts will be available for pickup at the graduating school within 48 business hours of form submission. FEES: First Transcript - Free. Duplicate Transcripts $2.00 each.

Job Placement Services

Job placement services are provided for all Capri graduates through the Admissions Department. The Capri Beauty School is part of a multi-school corporation that collaborates to support graduates to find job opportunities in the diverse salon industry throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Students are advised that the law prohibits any school, college, etc., from guaranteeing placement as an inducement to enter said school.

Client Services

Capri offers a wide variety of clinic services for women, men and children. From haircuts, coloring and styling to nails, skin care, salon packages and parties.

All clinic services performed by supervised students.
Capri offers weekly daily specials*:
- 50% off select clinic services on Wednesdays.
- Senior Citizens (62 and older with I.D.) also receive 50% off on Tuesdays until 2 p.m.
- Discounted clinic specials on Wednesdays.
*Sorry, there are no specials the week of any holiday.

Hours vary based on student availability.
Tuesday -Friday 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30pm p.m.
Chemical services may require additional time, please call for details.
