Launch your dream career with an internship through Capri.
Capri Beauty College offers a State approved internship program. The program allows 150 hours of the 1,500 hour curriculum to be spent in an approved salon. The program is available to students who qualify in attendance and grade standards, after a designated time period.
Campus Tours & Interview
Tours are booked by appointment and generally take one (1) hour. You are welcome to bring one adult guest to your tour. An admission representative will personally talk with you about your college and career goals. Be on-time for your tour or cancel/reschedule 24 hours prior. Maintenance of appointments is seriously considered in the selection of applicants. Failure to maintain or reschedule admission appointments may hinder admission.
Selection of Applicants
Success in the program requires not only creativity and public relation skills but also specific learning strategies such as oral communication, active listening, problem solving, reading comprehension, vocabulary development and goal setting. Capri carefully evaluates each applicant based on a three-step criterion process; tour & interview, admission application and academic coursework. Capri reserves the right to deny admission to applicants whom do not meet the admission criterion.
- Pay the registration fee.
- Provide a current State Driver's License or Official State Identification.
- Submit your completed Application for Admission
- Sign an Enrollment Agreement.
Fee Waiver Policy
Students may qualify for an income-based, registration fee waiver. To apply, request a Waiver Fee form from the admission department during your interview or prior to registering for class.
Prior to Orientation
Official transcript of graduation from a school recognized by the State's Board of Education providing secondary education (high school, home school or GED) must be on file with the Registrar's Office for the student to participate in Orientation and begin classes.
Occasionally, a student terminates from a course of study, and considers reinstating at a later date in time. Reinstatement Applications must be submitted within 180 days from the student’s last day of attendance for consideration of full credit of hours and coursework. Reinstatement Applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors on a monthly basis with consideration of the following: satisfactory progress at time of termination, clinic level, any disciplinary records and financial obligation to both the Department of Education and the College. Decision of the Board is final. Applications received within 90 calendar days from last day attended will incur no additional charges. Applications received after 90 calendar days from last day attended will incur a $25.00 non-refundable application fee and a $25.00 Registration fee. A new Enrollment Agreement must be executed by the student at the current tuition / books / equipment rates.
