Student Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to Capri Beauty College for those who qualify. The Federal Government through the Department of Education has granted this institution, Capri Beauty College — school code 013088, Federal Monies to aid qualifying students. The following programs are available for student application at this time:

  1. FEDERAL PELL GRANTS The Federal Pell Grant is an award of money to help first time undergraduate students pay for their education. This type of aid DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PAID BACK. Awards for the 2010-11 fiscal year are given based on need, to a Maximum of $5550.00 for a full Academic Year

  2. FEDERAL DIRECT LOANS (SUBSIDIZED AND UNSUBSIDIZED) Federal Direct Stafford Loans are low interest loans for qualifying students. Loans are made directly by the Federal Government. The maximum amount of Federal Sub. and Unsub. Direct Loan per full academic year is $5500.00. The maximum amount of Federal Sub. and Unsub. Direct Loan (for independent Students only) is $6000.00 per full academic year.

  3. FEDERAL DIRECT PLUS LOANS The Federal Direct PLUS Loan is for parents who wish to borrow money to help pay for their child’s education. This loan provides additional funds for educational expenses and is available directly from the Federal Government. This loan is approved based on credit worthiness, not on need. The Maximum Amount of PLUS Loan per academic year is found using the formula: Total need in dollars minus other financial aid received.
