Course Overview
The High School Co-Op Course at Capri covers the first 600 hours of the 1500 hour Cosmetology Program which includes classroom instruction on theory and skill development through practical application on manikins and Student Salon Clients. Number of applicants is limited.
Course Expectations
Along with coursework in the latest hair, skin, and nail techniques, students put their skills into practice during the Co-Op Course. By sharing their passion with friends, family, and Capri clients, students are expected to use the customer service and self-marketing skills learned in class to build a loyal school clientele—giving them the client service totals required for graduation and a strong head start on a successful business before graduation.
How To Register
To register, students must first consult with their high school counselor to obtain official approval before scheduling and attending a campus visit at Capri. Following the tour, registration may be completed with the Admissions Office provided that both the student and a parent or legal guardian are present, a formal Enrollment Agreement is signed, valid state or high school identification is presented, and the published registration fee is paid in full.
