Career Services

Career services are provided for all Capri graduates through the Office of Admission and outlined in our "Career Services Brochure." Capri Beauty College is part of a multi-school corporation that collaborates to support graduates to find job opportunities throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Copies of the "Career Services Brochure" are available in the Office of Admission. In addition, Help Wanted and Internship postings are available on bulletin boards throughout campus. Students are advised that the law prohibits any school, college, etc., from guaranteeing placement as an inducement to enter said school.

Enrollment Verification

To receive enrollment/attendance verification for use with various state agencies, insurance companies, daycare facilities etc., please follow these instructions: Enrollment Verification (including start date, anticipated graduation date and schedule): Complete the on-line form provided here: Enrollment Verification Form. Attendance Verification (hours earned each month) provide the appropriate form from the state agency requesting verification to either the Campus Director or Admission's Director. Form will be complete and returned to the student within three (3) business days.

Paying for College

Paying for college can be one of the toughest parts of launching your cosmetology career but it doesn't have to be. The options available to you as you plan how to pay for college will vary based on your unique situation so it's important to learn about the programs available to you.

Transcripts

Transcripts official or unofficial must be requested using this transcript request form. Oak Forest & New Lenox Transcripts will be available for pick-up within three (3) business days (Chicago Transcripts will be available for pick-up within ten (10) business days). Graduate/student must present current identification prior to release. Unclaimed transcripts will be securely destroyed 15 days after request and a second Transcript Request Form with fee will be required. If you live outside of commuting distance from the College, please indicate on the request form and it will be mailed to your home address. You are welcome to contact us at <contact@capri.edu> or call us (Oak Forest: 708-687-3020 x 212; New Lenox: 815-485-3020 x 210;) if you have questions, require additional information or would like assistance with this or any other college form.

Expired Transcripts

For students who withdraws from or drops out of the school, shall not be entitled to any transcript of completed hours following the expiration of the 7-year period that began on the student's first day of attendance at the school (source: The Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Hair Braiding and Nail Technology Act of 1985).

Note Graduates applying for the Illinois State Board Exam must submit an official transcript to Continental Testing Services, Inc (CTS). Without a Capri transcript, CTS will not respond to any licensing request, provide testing dates or a confirmation number. Capri does not send transcripts directly to CTS.

Tuition and fees must be paid-in-full to receive a transcript.
