October 12, 2025 is the effective date of closure. The decision to downsize campuses was made solely for economic sustainability reasons and with careful consideration for all students and staff. This difficult business decision was based on enrollment trends, operational costs, and our ability to provide quality education in the long term. We sincerely express our gratitude to the students, families, friends and clients that have been a part of our 47 years in the Oak Forest Community. The closing date was selected to provide graduate-level students with every opportunity to complete the program and graduate and we've been proactive in establishing comprehensive Teach Out arrangements with several quality institutions, including our Capri campus in New Lenox, for our remaining seven (7) students. These arrangements ensure students can transfer 100% of their completed hours and coursework without experiencing any negative impact on their Federal Student Aid, including both Grants and Loans. All steps in this process strictly adhere to the regulatory guidelines and timelines for School Closings as directed by the Department of Education, the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences and the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. We are meeting or exceeding all requirements to ensure our students are protected throughout this transition.
